Blocks in Progress

Happy Thursday! 

Hope you all had a wonderful and safe July 4th!  It was quiet around here, at least til all the fireworks started last night.  I stayed in and avoided the heat.  I didn't do a whole lot, but I did get a little sewing in.  I will reveal that project tomorrow.  :)

For today, I just want to show you something I have had in the works for a while.  I have some other projects to get finished first, but I am definitely excited to get back to work on this one.  I love pinwheels and this is going to be a lot of fun to work on again.

Asterisk Block

Just wanted to share a block I did for the Moody Blues Bee.  This is an Asterisk Block.  I had never done this block before, but it was super easy.  It will be on it's way home in a few days, once I can get to the post office.  We have had snow here in East TN, so I have been taking advantage of sewing for the past few days!  I have a few other things in the works, so I'll be back to show you those later this week!

Squares

Happy Thursday!  It has been a busy, busy day!  Doing some major cleaning and I am just worn out now!

Wanted to share a couple of blocks I just made this past weekend for my Bee There Bee Squares group!  These block were fun to make and are now on there way back to their Bee mom.

Swiss Flag Blocks

     Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I hope you are beginning your year with lots of creativity!  I wanted to show you a couple of blocks that I did in November for my Bee There Bee Squares Bee.  This block is a Swiss Flag block and it was very easy to make.  I just love the fabric I received to do these blocks!  They have now traveled back to their owner and I can't wait to see how her quilt turns out!



Here is an example quilt that was made using these blocks! 

I think I would like to make a quilt like this a some point!  I think it would be fun!

Quilt Blocks to Share

I wanted to share these quilt blocks I made for my Beautiful Batiks Bee Group from last month. 

These are going back to their owner today, but I wanted you all to see them!

These are made from various Batiks and I thought the light and darks were just great in this group!
