Happy November!!!
Good morning to you all! It has been a hectic week. I had a minor car wreck last week...everyone was OK, no one was hurt, just my car and it wasn't even my fault. Anyway, I forgot to pre-schedule my post last night and when I got up this morning, I had to go to the dealership to get the tires aligned and the fender somewhat fixed, so that it would not rub my tire. I had to go on a moment's notice, as they were nice enough to work me in this morning. The reason is...they cannot fix my car until Dec 12...yes, Dec 12. Why??? You ask?? I live in East TN and because of Hail storms in April and more storms in June, all the body shops are back up for months and months fixing cars. This makes it very difficult for people who have more immediate needs, like car wrecks, to get their cards fixed. Am I a little aggravated...Yes! But, there is not much I can do. Luckily, my car is a lot more drivable and safe now, than it was yesterday.
So, now without further ado, here are two cards for today, one using
Just a Note and
Bold Sentiments II Holidays! My cards are plain and simple. I had an order for 200 Thanksgiving cards. They are in sets of 12, because I had lots of different pattern paper. I had to make them flat and not too fancy, because they all had to be mailable and simple, yet pretty. So, I could not do some of my usual 3D dots and embellies on these. This is only one of many:
Card size: 4.25" x 5.5"
Stamps: Pumpkin and leaves(Inkadinkadoo)
Cardstock: American Crafts
Pattern Paper: K & Company
Embossing Ink: Stampin' Up Craft Chocolate Chip
Embossing Powder: Ranger Clear
Dye Ink: Stampin' Up Dusty Durango, Soft Suede
Chalk In: VersaMagic Gingerbread
