Monday March 1st – Announcement of blogs with prizes on Just Buggin!

Here is a cute Spring Tag set that I made using
the Walk in My Garden cartridge:
Products:
Cardstock base:  AC
Pattern Cardstock:  My Mind's Eye Summer Song
Cricut Cartridge:  Walk in My Garden
Ribbon:  Michael's
Flowers:  Prima
Chalk Ink:  VersaMagic
Brads:  Spare Parts by The Paper Studio
Gems:  Spare Parts by The Paper Studio
Adhesive:  3D Squares

I had so much fun with this project!  I started with a cardstock base using the Tag feature and then covered it with my favorite patterned cardstock from My Mind's Eye!  I just love their paper!
I used the shift feature on the tag to add the 3-D butterfly, added chalk ink around tag and butterfly and added some bling!  I color coordinated the flowers with the paper and added them to the bottom edge, so that it would look like the butterfly was landing on the flower!
These tags would make a great Spring gift set!  Hope you enjoy!

Ok, now that you have seen my project, you have two ways to possibly earn a prize on my blog:
1).  Leave a comment for me letting me know what your favorite Spring flower is and why!
(Mine is a Pansy--I love those bright little faces!  They make me so HAPPY!!)
2). Become a follower of my blog!

Time to get busy on your Spring project!
Now, don't forget to leave at Comment at Just Buggin' and post your project to Mr. Linky!

Your next stop is at Robin's blog.
Hop on over and check out her project!
Don't forget to have fun and check back on Monday March 1st!

Just Buggin' Challenge #26 Emboss It!

Happy Wednesday ladies!  It is hump day and what a great day it is!  It's time for another wonderful challenge at Just Buggin'!  Today's Challenge  #26 is to Emboss It!  That's right---emboss your diecuts!
You can heat emboss your diecuts or you can run them through the Big Shot with an embossing folder or texture plate.

Here's a big flower I made using the Walk in My Garden cartridge.  I cut out several sizes using the regular and shadow feature.  I ran each flower through my Big Shot with an embossing folder.  I used three different folders with 4 different colors of SU cardstock.  I took chalk ink and rubbed each flower to make the petals pop.   Then, starting at the bottom, I glued each flower on top of the next to build this layered effect.  After all were glued and I showcased it with a button in the middle, I bent each petal upwards, so the flower would look more open and not flat.
Products:
Cardstock:  Stampin' Up
Cricut cartridge:  Walk in the Garden
Embossing Folders:  Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, Tiny Bubbles, Spots and Dots
Chalk Ink:  VersaMagic Pumpkin Spice
Button:  Unknown
Embroidery floss:  DMC

If you have not been to Just Buggin' yet, please stop on over and check out all the great inspiration!
