I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  As usual, we ate way too much, but it was fun!
I cannot believe it is only three and a half weeks til Christmas!  Where has time gone?  UGH...I am so not ready for Christmas!  Oh well...guess I better get ready!

Today is Design Team Wednesday at Scrapmaster's Paradise and I have a couple of simple Christmas cards to show you!  I had to make a whole bunch of cards for my sister to send out.

SP & Company Design Team Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday and Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today is Design Team Wednesday at SP & Company!
It is a busy time around the house getting ready for Thanksgiving.  I recently made over 200 Thanksgiving cards for my sister to send out for her business.  Here are just a few that I made.  They are simple without much embellishment, because they had to be sent through the mail.  I used may different pattern papers, but I used the SP & Company Stamps on many of these cards!  These sentiments came from the set called "Bold Sentiments II Holiday Set!"

Please stop by Scrapmaster's Paradise to see what the other designers have in store for you!
Don't forget to grab all you stamping goodies at SP & Company Store!

I hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving!

It's Design Team Wednesday over at Scrapmaster's Paradise!

I have a cute little card today using one of our new stamps, Vintage Varsity!  I decided to make a little birthday card for a cute little girl who will be four soon!  I love polka dots, so I found the perfect paper and ribbon!  I stamped "Happy Birthday" on the background paper in the polka dots and then use the "4th" stamped by itself to emphasize what birthday it was.  I just love this new Vintage Varsity stamp set because there are so many possibilities!

SP & Company November Stamp Release!

Happy Thursday!

The SP & Company November Stamp Release is finally here! We have had some great sneak peeks, but it's time to finally reveal the stamps!

This month's color is Red! Not only does the Design Team get to play with this color, but YOU do too! After you're done hopping around today, make sure you play along with this month's red challenge (click here for details) for a chance to win some awesome SP and Company prizes! And don't forget that the random prize patrol is watching so leave a comment on every blog each day to be eligible for the prizes!!

Today, I have made a large Christmas tag for one of my special Christmas gifts.  It is a homemade gift also, but I am still working on it and cannot reveal it at this time.  The new stamp set I am working with today is just awesome!!!  It is called Vintage Varsity and these numbers can be used for anything from sports to tags!  I decided to use the number 25 since that is Christmas day and I stamp it on light card stock six different times in offset rows.  It looks like I cut the paper down to size, but that is how I stamped it...so that the image goes off the page.  I also stamped most of it lightly to give a more distressed look and then stamped it dark, one good time.  I also used the Christmas Medley sentiment and then took an edge distresser to each layer and also added some brown and black ink.  These techniques help to make this tag more distressed and old fashion.

Tag Size:  4" x 6"
SP & Company Stamps:  Vintage Varsity(numbers), Christmas Medley(sentiment)
Card Stock:  Stampin' Up
Pattern Paper:  My Mind's Eye
Embossing Ink:  Stampin' Up Dye Soft Suede
Chalk Ink:  VersaMagic Jumbo Java, Black
Ribbon:  Michael's
Flowers/leaves:  Prima
Edge distresser:  Heidi Swapp
Brads:  Spare Parts by The Paper Studio

I hope I have inspired you to make some homemade Christmas tags!  This is a big tag and it was so much fun to make and it also looks so much better than a store bought tag and your friends and family will appreciate your handy work!
Make sure you check out the SP Blog and see what Samantha did with the new stamps! Also, Patty, Stephanie, Kelli, Chrissie and Jen all have projects for you today, so stop by their blogs and check out what they have been up to.

SP & Company Sneek Peek

Good Wednesday morning to everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Today is very exciting!  I have a sneak peek of the new SP & Company Stamp set to be released tomorrow, Nov 10!  It is called " Vintage Varsity!"  I just love it!

I volunteered again this year to make "Thank You" cards for our high school football coaches and trainers for the end of season banquet.  I just love this set of varsity numbers!  It is perfect for my cards!  I decided to stamp jersey numbers on the red background and then stamped one number so it stands out!  For this sample, the number happens to be my son's old jersey number(he graduated last spring.)  We have eight coaches and a number of trainers and team managers that I will be making cards for and I plan for each background to be different.

Card size:  4.25" x 5.5"
Cardstock:  Stampin' Up
SP & Company Stamps:  Vintage Varsity and Just a Note
Embossing Ink:  Big & Bossy Clear, Ranger Adirondak Cranberry, Stampin' Up Dye Soft Suede
Embossing Powder:  Ranger Black, Ranger Clear

SP & Compnay Design Team Wednesday

     Happy November!!!

Good morning to you all!   It has been a hectic week.  I had a minor car wreck last week...everyone was OK, no one was hurt, just my car and it wasn't even my fault.  Anyway, I forgot to pre-schedule my post last night and when I got up this morning, I had to go to the dealership to get the tires aligned and the fender somewhat fixed, so that it would not rub my tire.  I had to go on a moment's notice, as they were nice enough to work me in this morning.  The reason is...they cannot fix my car until Dec 12...yes, Dec 12.  Why??? You ask??  I live in East TN and because of Hail storms in April and more storms in June, all the body shops are back up for months and months fixing cars.  This makes it very difficult for people who have more immediate needs, like car wrecks, to get their cards fixed.  Am I a little aggravated...Yes!  But, there is not much I can do.  Luckily, my car is a lot more drivable and safe now, than it was yesterday.

So, now without further ado, here are two cards for today, one using Just a Note and Bold Sentiments II Holidays!  My cards are plain and simple.  I had an order for 200 Thanksgiving cards.  They are in sets of 12, because I had lots of different pattern paper.  I had to make them flat and not too fancy, because they all had to be mailable and simple, yet pretty.  So, I could not do some of my usual 3D dots and embellies on these.  This is only one of many:

Card size: 4.25" x 5.5"
SP & Company Stamps:  Bold Sentiments II Holiday
Stamps:  Pumpkin and leaves(Inkadinkadoo)
Cardstock: American Crafts
Pattern Paper:  K & Company
Embossing Ink:  Stampin' Up Craft Chocolate Chip
Embossing Powder:  Ranger Clear
Dye Ink:  Stampin' Up Dusty Durango, Soft Suede
Chalk In:  VersaMagic Gingerbread

Here is a note card to go with some of the Thanksgiving cards in the same order:

Card size:  4.25" x 5.5"
SP & Company Stamps:  Just a Note
Cardstock:  American Crafts
Pattern Paper:  DCWV
Embossing Ink: Stampin' Up Craft Chocolate Chip
Embossing Powder: Ranger Clear
Chalk In: VersaMagic Jumbo Java

Hope you have a wonderful day!  Go check out SP & Company for all your stamping needs!  Don't forget to go to Scrapmaster's Paradise to see the Design Team creations!
