Happy Tuesday to You!
Welcome to our first SP & Company Blog Hop in 2012!
I am so excited about 2012 and all the fun things that SP & Company has in store for you! We have lots of wonderful stamps and the quality of these clear stamps is incredible. I just love how these stamps will stamp such clean, clear images and they are so easy to clean!
This month's color is WHITE (or Cream)! After you're done hopping around today, make sure you play along with this month's White challenge (click here for details) for a chance to win some awesome SP and Company prizes!
I wanted to show off one of our new background stamps called Little Floral Background. Although it is a "floral" background, I wanted to make a more masculine card to show its versatility. I chose to use the background on the card base and to make a pattern piece to use along with the base. I used Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye to give it the worn distressed look and also use VersaMagic Chalk Ink in Jumbo Java to add a more worn look.
Here is the card I created for the Blog Hop:
Cards Size: 4.25" x 5.5"
SP & Company Stamps: Little Floral Background, Bold Sentiments 1
Cardstock: Stampin' Up
Dye Ink: Ranger Distress Tea Dye
Chalk Ink: VersaMagic Jumbo Java
Embroidery floss: DMC Vanilla and Tan
Join us for our Release Celebration that is happening today and tomorrow on the SP Forum HERE. You can talk to all of the designers, discuss projects and chit chat with other stampers!
Make sure you check out the SP Blog to see what Samantha did with the new stamps! We also have the Stamp Team and the Challenge Team teaming up today to show you lots of amazing projects with the newest stamp sets!
