Welcome to Tuesday!
I hope your day has started out on a bright note! Today is Tuesday Talk! I thought I would talk about Free Motion Quilting. I have only done stippling in my free motion adventures. I used free motion on a T-shirt wall hanging I did and also on a tote bag. They both turned out pretty well and that is the great thing about stippling, it does hide mistakes! I have not ventured out into patterns yet. Mainly because I haven't had time, but I am also a little intimidated. We had a couple of workshops in our guild to teach some proper quilt ideas to our members. Our president made up several samples of different, easy quilting patterns. You can see them below. They are beautiful. One of these days I am going to try several of them!
How about you? Do you free motion quilt, and if so, what is your favorite pattern?

30 Days of Thanks~Day 13
Today, I am thankful that my sons' truck was not stolen or vandalized yesterday. They just smashed the back sliding glass window and they didn't take anything. Luckily, other than a jacket, there was nothing in there at all. Just a pain to get it fixed, but we are very thankful! :)
Have a Terrific Tuesday!
I recently started FMQing and have tried several different patterns...and while I like a lot of them, squares and rectangles seems to be my favorite. (So I'm sure it has a different offical name, but it is just made of little squares and rectangles. http://fabricengineer.blogspot.com/2012/07/window-boxes-finished.html shows what I'm talking about.)
